Fovissste increased its placement 3.3% during 2021

In an environment of economic recovery, the Issste Housing Fund (Fovissste) managed to exceed during 2021 the placement registered a previous year, both in number of credits as in the originated amount.

Of According to the data of the closing of the year of the State mortgage, during 2021 the Fovissste granted 50,794 financing, equivalent to 36,816 million pesos, that is, a growth of 3.3% with respect to the number of loans and 2.8% in amount, with respect to the numbers originated in 2020.

“With these figures, (the Fund) It also exceeded the credit goal programmed in its basic scenario for 2021, set at 48,334 financings, by 5%, “said the agency now headed by César Buenrostro Moreno.

According to fund estimates , with the economic spill generated by the agency during 2021, the creation of 614,838 direct and indirect jobs was supported through housing developers, as well as economic activities or related service providers, such as construction material stores, aluminum, carpentry, hardware, paint, brick, among others.

The Fund detailed that, as of December 31, 2021, of the 50,794 financings granted last year, 44,299 correspond to the Traditional scheme and the rest to the Pensioned, Spousal, Fovissste – Infonavit Individual and Fovissste for Everyone.

“Of the total mortgage financing in the Traditional modality, 98.13% was used for the acquisition of new or used housing, and the rest for expansion, construction, improvement and redemption of liabilities,” added the agency .

According to the agency, within the Traditional scheme, the State of Mexico was the entity that most received this type of credit, with 3,851, followed by Veracruz, with 3,518, and Hidalgo with 3,216, which accounted for 23.9% of financing in this modality.

For this 2022, the Fund plans to grant up to 59,731 financings for 39,538 million 969,600 pesos.
