‘Fresh & Fit’ Podcast Address Resurfaced Clip About Dating Black Women: “There’s Nothing Wrong With Having Preferences”

fresh and fit podcast

The innanet talked about Asian Doll’s appearance on the ‘Fresh & Fit’ podcast all day after several controversial things occured. With all eyes on the podcast, Twitter brought up an old clip of Myron Gaines and his co-host Walter Weekes discussing why they don’t date Black women, as Asian Doll’s name trended. Several people were upset and said that the men were colorists, amongst other things. The men decided to clear the air and went live on YouTube for hours to show what happened before Asian Doll arrived, along with other things.

Myron showed footage from last night explaining that he asked the women on the show to stop having sidebar conversations about 6 or 7 times calmly before the situation escalated. In addition, he detailed that although the argument happened with the rapper before it occurred, her manager was in attendance. When Asian arrived, they showered her with hospitality and even asked her to plug her music.

While Myron was almost finished making his point, one of his female guests asked him to address the resurfaced clip about not dating Black women. Myron was evident and stated that no race is off-limits to be discussed and be made fun of on the show. The host said firmly that the podcast isn’t politically correct, and they don’t care what people think. Myron also explained his views on having a preference. As the conversation continued, both men said they didn’t have an issue with Black women.

However, Myron, who is of Sudanese descent, said he wouldn’t marry a Sudanese woman. Walter (wearing the black shirt and silver chain) explained he is used to dating white women, and that’s his preference. In addition, the men agreed that the incident with Asian Doll was a misunderstanding and that they didn’t have anything against the rapper.
