From Chennai to Lisbon: Aditi Shankar’s next film adventure

Akash Murali, Actor Atharvaa Murali’s brother, and Aditi Shankar are set to star in an upcoming film directed by Vishnu Vardhan. The film is being produced by Xavier Britto, Akash’s father-in-law, who is also Thalapathy Vijay’s first cousin. The project started with its first schedule in Chennai, which has already been successfully wrapped up. Right now, the film’s second schedule is underway in Lisbon and Portugal.Aditi Shankar, one of the lead actors, has traveled to the location for shooting and is expected to be filming until the end of next month. The movie, which began filming this year, was announced in April 2021. Vishnuvardhan expressed his excitement about collaborating with Akash Murali and launching him as the film’s protagonist.

The untitled film is being shot in various locations, and insiders suggest it will be a romantic story. The details about the rest of the cast and crew and the film’s title are yet to be announced.

Interestingly, Ajith Kumar was initially interested in having Vishnuvardhan direct his film, but due to prior commitments with this project and another Hindi film, the opportunity did not materialize. However, rumors suggest that they might collaborate on a film in the future.

Bankrolled by XB Film Creators, the same production house behind Vijay’s blockbuster “Master,” this new venture holds promise as it marks the debut of Akash Murali, carrying the legacy of his late father, Murali, in the Tamil film industry.
