From Moonfall To Uncharted, Here Are The Hollywood Releases We Are Excited About This February

With cinemas slowly opening back to full capacity, movie buffs have a lot to look forward to in the month of February. There are many exciting Hollywood movies slated to release all through the month, and it’s a good mix of action, drama, suspense and romance.

From Halle Berry’s Moonfall to Gal Gadot and Ali Fazal’s Death On The Nile, the February line-up for Hollywood releases looks quite promising. Let’s take a look at what’s in store:

MOONFALL

Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson have been paired opposite each other for the sci-fi film Moonfall. The story revolves around NASA executive and former astronaut, Jo Fowler and her former co-worker, Brian Harper, who set on a mission to save planet earth when A mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth, bringing the world on the brink of annihilation. The film is directed by Roland Emmerich and will hit the theatres on February 4.

MARRY ME

Music superstars Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) and Bastian (Maluma) are soon to get married when Bastian is found out to be cheating on Valdez. She decides to marry Charlie (Owen Wilson), a stranger in the crowd, and what happens next with this strange couple makes up the movie. The film also stars John Bradley, Sarah Silverman, Chloe Coleman, Stephen Wallem, Jimmy Fallon, Utkarsh Ambudkar. Releasing on February 11, the film will be a perfect pick for Valentine’s Day.

DEATH ON THE NILE

If you are in the mood for a mystery-thriller film, then Kenneth Branagh’s Death On The Nile is just the film for you. Based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel of the same name, the film is a follow-up to Murder on the Orient Express. The film stars Branagh returning as Hercule Poirot, along with Tom Bateman (also returning from the first film), Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright round out the ensemble cast. The film is set to release on February 11.

UNCHARTED

Are we looking forward to this? Hell, yes! Starring Tom Holland in the lead role, the film revolves around a young Nathan Drake and his wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan, played by Mark Wahlberg. The film is based on a video game where we will get to see a treasure hunt, some amazing chasing sequences and Holland in action. The film will hit theatres on February 18.
