Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile opens beta registrations for iOS and Android

With a testing period scheduled to run from 17:00 on March 31st to 11:59 on April 8th, Square Enix announced that its anime-based title Fullmetal Alchemist: Mobile has officially opened beta registration. With a bit of luck, you’ll be one of the few that can test out the much-anticipated release before it officially launches later this year.

After a drip stream of character art and voice actor announcements, Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile is getting closer and closer to the official release. Based on the incredibly popular and easily recognizable anime series, this mobile RPG is set to finally adapt the show into a playable form and become the first live-service game to do so. If you’re a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, you’ll absolutely want to give this one a gander, as it seems it is primed to be a faithful adaptation using the same voice actors and the same general story beats as well.

From now until the 22nd of this month, players can head over to the official website and sign up for the closed beta testing period. The focus of this test is, of course, to figure out what aspects of the game need improvement and focus ahead of the planned Summer launch. Both Android and iOS users can sign up and are even further incentivized to do so by the promise of receiving a free Super Rare variant of Winry Rockbell, one of the most loved characters in the entire series if the game reaches 500,000 pre-registrations.

This reward would be handed out to all players, regardless of if you get into the beta test, so be sure to head over to the game’s official website and pre-register as well. Between the usage of the anime series’ voice actors, art that is accurate to the characters, and a large pre-registration campaign, Fullmetal Alchemist is set up to be the next big mobile gacha RPG, so stay tuned to both the website and the Square Enix Twitter for any updates!
