GAIKA Shares Dynamic New Single ‘GUNZ’

Alongside a performance clip…

GAIKA has shared new single ‘GUNZ’.

The London multi-hyphenate is a truly genre-less creator, someone who is emphatically working in their own lane. Incoming album ‘Drift’ lands on September 8th, and each preview seems to exist in its own universe, distinct and separate from one another.

Out now, ‘GUNZ’ is the latest preview, and it’s a powerful piece of work from GAIKA. The sharp-edged electronics have a palpable sense of clarity, while the billowing effects on the vocal lines have an alien sensibility.

Breaking down into a kind of goth-edged indie jammer beamed in from an alternate dimension, the frosted synth line is worth comparing to Gary Numan. On streaming services now, it’s accompanied by a live video shot by Jessica Au in London.

Catch GAIKA on October 12th at the Windmill in London.
