Galaxy Tab S8 line spotted on Amazon in Italy, colors and specifications revealed

Samsung will reportedly launch its next line flagship tablets early next month, along with the Galaxy S22 series. Although the company has not made an official announcement regarding the upcoming tablets, over the last few weeks we have seen several renders highlighting their design and hardware specifications. So far we have learned that the Galaxy Tab S8 line will include three tablets – vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 , Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Live tablet renderings and images have revealed that the regular and Plus variants will have a design similar to the Galaxy Tab S7 line from last year, but the Ultra model will have some unique changes. Now the retail lists of all three tablets have appeared on Amazon in Italy and Amazon in France ahead of the official launch, revealing some additional details.

Amazon in Italy reveals that all three tablets will in the Galaxy Tab S8 line be available in 5G or Wi-Fi only. Although the ads mention that all three tablets will have Qualcomm chipsets, they do not specify exactly which chipset will be on each model. Based on previous information, we speculate that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, while the other two models could have a Snapdragon 888.

The lists further reveal that the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus will be available in three colors – black, silver and pink. However, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will only be available in black. All three tablets will also have support for the S Pen, which will be magnetically attached to the back of the tablet.

Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S8 reveals that it will have an 11-inch screen with with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and go under model number X706B. It will have one 13 MP rear camera and a front camera on the top edge. The tablet will measure 25.38 x 16.53 x 0.63 cm and weigh 507 grams. It will have an 8,000 mAh battery and run the One UI 4 based on Android 12 out of the box.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Plus list states that it will have a 12.4-inch screen with with a resolution of 2800 x 1772 pixels, it will go under the X806B model number and have the same camera setting as the regular variant. However, it will include a larger battery of 10,090 mAh. The tablet will measure 28.5 x 18.5 x 0.57 cm and weigh 572 grams. In terms of software, the tablet will also run One UI 4 based on Android 12.

Finally, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra list reveals that it will have a 14.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels, one 13 MP rear camera, two front sensor located in the notch and 11,200 mAh battery. The tablet will measure 32.64 x 20.86 x 0.55 cm and weigh about 728 grams. The Ultra variant will also be launched with One UI 4 based on Android 12.

Although no price details are revealed in Italy, Amazon’s French flagship Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra list states that it will be available for € 1,308.10 for the 128GB mobile variant and € 1,159.32 for the Wi-Fi-only model. Listing further adds that the flagship variant will become available for purchase on February 25, transmitted by XDA-Developers .
