Garmin has launched the new Forerunner series of smartwatches in India, the Garmin Forerunner 965 and the Garmin Forerunner 265. The brand claims that the 965 and 265 models have the longest battery life among smartwatches with AMOLED displays. Here are the features of the new Forerunner smartwatches.
Garmin Forerunner 965 Features
The Garmin Forerunner 965 sports a circular 1.4-inch AMOLED panel which is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 DX. The smartwatch has a 5 ATM rating for water pressure resistance.
Garmin claims that the Forerunner 965 has a battery life of up to 23 days in the normal mode. Meanwhile, it is said to offer a battery life of up to 31 hours in GPS mode.
The Forerunner 965 comes with the usual health features such as heart rate and sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and SpO2 measurement. It also has a Wrist-Based Running Dynamics option that will monitor the stride length and vertical oscillation.
Garmin Forerunner 265, 265S Features
The Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 265S feature a 1.1-inch AMOLED panel with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Both models are 5 ATM-rated for water pressure resistance.
The Forerunner 265 reportedly features a battery life of up to 13 days in normal mode and up to 20 hours in GPS mode. Meanwhile, the Forerunner 265S is said to offer up to 15 days of battery life in normal mode and 24 hours in GPS mode.
The Forerunner 265 models feature heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, SpO2 measurement, and menstrual cycle tracking. It also features a special triathlon mode with more than 30 sports modes.
Garmin Forerunner 965, Forerunner 265, Forerunner 265S Price
The Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S cost ₹50,490 in India. While the Forerunner 265 comes in Aqua, Black, and Whitestone colorways, the 265S comes in Black and Pink shades.
The Garmin Forerunner 965 costs ₹67,490 and is available in Amp Yellow, Black, and Whitestone color options. The Forerunner 956 and Forerunner 265 are available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, Garmin Brand Store, Croma stores, and other major retailers.
