A tornado crossed the waterfront of Kiel on Wednesday and several people were pushed back into the Baltic Sea. The police reported seven injured.
As the fire brigade informed, as a result of this weather event, six people were hospitalized, including three seriously injured. Several people were on the pier to secure the boat, said the spokesman of the fire brigade.
Some suffered when they were hit by blast-blown objects. Based on photos and videos from the scene, we can assume that it looked like a tornado – Michael Bauditz from the German Weather Service told dpa.
