In recent days, the case of Chinese telephones has resonated with the world of technology. In Lithuania, a safety test of selected Chinese smartphones took place and resulted in really interesting results and interpretations.
The agency Reuters summarized the situation in its report together with by a statement by the Lithuanian Minister of Defense Margiris Abukevicius. He described the results of the test of Lithuanian experts as follows:
“Our recommendation is not to buy Chinese phones and get rid of those you have already bought as soon as possible.” This is a really important statement, which requires a more detailed understanding of what more precisely the whole issue was about.
The three telephones from China
The safety test of Chinese-branded smartphones was therefore mentioned at the beginning. The Android Authority portal specifies that it was a test of selected smartphones with 5G connectivity, more precisely the Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G, Huawei P40 5G and OnePlus 8T 5G models. So it was not a global test of dozens of smartphones. This is connected with the situation around the App Gallery app store.
Huawei has not been able to use Google services, which means that, among other things, he cannot install and use the Google Play store on his smartphones. It is downloaded by all Android users.
