Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says he’s “absolutely disgusted” there are people on the left opposing Gina Rinehart receiving what is an “overdue” Australia Day award.
Mining magnate Gina Rinehart has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia for services to mining, community and sport.
“She has made an extraordinary contribution to this country, absolutely extraordinary,” Mr Kroger said.
