GK Barry’s life from huge TikTok fame to rarely seen boyfriend

It’s hard to believe it’s been three years since Coronavirus struck, with the first UK lockdown now just a solemn memory for many of us – but one rising star who made the most of being stuck inside is TikTok sensation, GK Barry.

The 24 year old star shot to fame at the height of the pandemic, with her irreverent videos and charming personality soon winning over legions of fans on the social media platform.

In fact, she proved to be so popular with fans, that she racked up over one million followers in just over a year, despite being limited in the type of content she could actually produce in lockdown.

Clearly proving she is unafraid of a challenge, GK has decided to push herself to the limit on Channel 4 show Don’t Look Down for SU2C, where the social media sensation will be tasked with conquering her fear of height in a series of death-defying challenges, alongside a host of other stars including Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard and Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness.

But who is GK Barry?

Although many fans know her best as GK Barry, the TikTok star’s name is actually Grace Keeling and she is a 23 year old influencer who shot to fame during the first Covid-19 lockdown back in March 2020.

Initially, Grace had only intended to post short vlogs and stories about her day to day life, in the hope of beating lockdown boredom, but her posts soon began to gain traction with more and more people taking comfort in her daily activities.

By August 2020, just five months after launching her TikTok account, Grace had already passed the 100,000 follower mark, with the star finally hitting the one million follower milestone in just over a year.

In addition to her social media presence, Grace also studied for a degree in film studies from Nottingham Trent University, before further boosting her education with a masters in digital marketing, something it appears she already has a natural flair for.

While studying at NTU, the rising star also undertook work experience on the set of BBC soap Doctors, and even Netflix film Hood, in addition to producing content for a mental health awareness project run by ShawMind.

What is she best know for?
