El gobernador de Tabasco, Carlos Manuel Merino informó que dio positivo a COVID-19, siendo esta la segunda vez que se contagia. Por el momento se reporta con síntomas leves.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, Merino Campos escribió: “Con una solicitud muy respetuosa, para que se sigan cuidando con las medidas sanitarias y así evitar mayores contagios, les informo que me he hecho la prueba y soy positivo a COVID-19″.
El mandatario aseguró que por lo pronto se siente bien, pero continuará con sus actividades y estará pendiente de todos los temas en total aislamiento y seguirá atento a las acciones del equipo de trabajo del Gobierno de Tabasco.
Antes, también se reportaron los casos positivos de la titular de la Policía Estatal de Caminos (PEC) Julissa Riverol, la directora general del Instituto de la Juventud y el Deporte (Injudet), Jessyca Mayo; el titular de la Comisión Estatal de Agua y Saneamiento (CEAS), Armando Padilla y el presidente del Tribunal Superior de Justicia (TSJ), Enrique Priego Oropeza.
El mandatario ha mencionado que también se contagiaron los secretarios de Desarrollo Energético, Sheila Cadena, y de Cultura, Ramiro Chávez.
También dieron positivo la alcaldesa de Cárdenas, María Esther Zapata Zapata, la de Teapa, Alma Espadas y la diputada local Laura Patricia Ávalos.
Apenas el viernes Tabasco rompió, por tercera ocasión en la semana, el récord de casos diarios de COVID-19, al registrar 1 mil 878 nuevos contagios en un lapso de 24 horas; además, aumentó a 8 mil 509 el número de pacientes que mantienen carga viral activa.
En el Comunicado Técnico Diario, la Secretaría de Salud reportó que 74 personas se encuentran hospitalizadas, de las cuales, 58 tienen ya confirmación a COVID-19, 10 están por confirmar y solo 6 arrojaron negativos.
Agregó que en las últimas horas se notificaron cuatro defunciones, de las que dos ocurrieron en las últimas 48 horas, y dos en días anteriores.
