According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Club Brugge will get the green light for the construction of a new stadium at Olympia today or tomorrow. Flemish Minister of the Environment Zuhal Demir (N-VA) is said to have approved the environmental permit for the construction project of the new enclosure today or tomorrow. The environmental impact report was already approved in August, now the environmental permit would also be in order. Club Brugge wants to start construction of the new stadium in 2022. However, an appeal is still possible, within 45 days of approval, and this cannot be ruled out.
