Google Camera: New update fixes problems with QR codes

Oops, that was quick. Google updated its own camera app just two days after an error became known. QR codes should now scan properly again.

    It didn’t take long this time, Google reacted to an error that had become known on 2o. January with an update within a few days. The problem was that the lens suggestions within the camera app some QR codes falsified. As a result, QR codes from URLs were sometimes misinterpreted. This error is no longer there with the latest Google camera, as we have been able to determine. On Saturday, Google is rolling out an update for the camera app via the Play Store . out. It brings version 8.4.400. However, no new information can be found in the changelog.
