Growing field: The seed companies Nirit and TomTech were sold to an investment fund for NIS 200 million

The private investment fund AP Partners and Discount Capital will try to establish a leading seed care company together, through the acquisition of two seed companies and a merger between them. The two funds will acquire Nirit Zeraim for NIS 150 million, and TomaTech for NIS 50 million. Nirit Seeds is one of the oldest companies in the field of tomato and pepper seed cultivation, and in recent years has focused on developing genetic markers that help shorten the cultivation time of virus-resistant varieties. Nirit was founded 30 years ago, by Barach Yogev (86) and Boaz Fibishevich (72).
