During this year’s vacation, there was an intense discussion on the Internet about the aforementioned GTA trilogy – the flash point was the actions of Take Two and Rockstar to remove all extensive modifications to all three games from the network – in this way the publisher and developers want to get rid of unwanted competition for their own release that they are working on and which is surely already finished. At the same time, more information about what this trilogy would be is getting into the network. In turn, a few days ago, a Korean institution, which is the equivalent of PEGI, assessed the trilogy. Then we also learned the title of the package – GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Today, in turn, there are more clues, indicating that the refreshed trilogy will be presented at any moment.
Rockstar Launcher has been updated, and among the new files, references to refreshed versions of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas were found along with new icons. The entire trilogy has been transferred to the Unreal Engine.

The Rockstar Launcher client has been recently updated. for specific traces of refreshed games GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. The premiere is scheduled for 2021, as the “refreshed” GTA V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S has been moved to March 2022. On October 22, the 20th anniversary of GTA 3 will take place. Who knows, maybe it is the upcoming jubilee that the whole refreshed trilogy will be available for sale.
