GUNDAM PARK Attraction Hits Fukuoka in April of 2022

The LaLaport Fukuoka shopping center is already home to a life-size statue of RX-93ff Nu Gundam mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, but soon the shopping center will also be home to GUNDAM PARK, a triple attraction of Mobile Suit Gundam-themed stores and activities. GUNDAM PARK consists of the GUNDAM SIDE-F FUKUOKA, VS PARK WITH G, and NAMCO stores.

GUNDAM SIDE-F FUKUOKA is a shop designed to look like the interior of a space colony. The shop includes a dedicated Gunpla construction area as well as a giant bank of monitors that measure 10 meters (about 33 feet) wide by 6 meters (about 20 feet) high. GUNDAM SIDE-F FUKUOKA will also serve as a s space to host various Gundam-themed events.

VS PARK WITH G is a sports entertainment facility with challenging attractions similar to those featured on Japanese variety TV shows. The shop features immersive games that customers can play, such as Gundam-themed versions of the “Nigekiru” and “Yokekiru” games, which task players with out-running or dodging enemy mobile suits.

Finally, the NAMCO store is an amusement facility featuring games designed to appeal to people of all ages, such as arcade cabinets and crane machines, as well as limited edition prizes and capsule toys.

The GUNDAM PARK facilities are scheduled to open in April of 2022 at the LaLaport Fukuoka shopping center in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Kyushu, Japan.
