Former Minister of Culture Ivan Tasovac was injured at the end of 2018 while playing basketball recreationally. The director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra was then transferred to the Emergency Center, where he was diagnosed with severe bodily injuries, more precisely a vertebral fracture.
During the examination, a tumor on his vertebra was discovered.
Tasovac did not want to talk much about his illness, and he revealed how he found out about it.
– I fell in basketball, they found a tumor on my fourth vertebra, after three weeks I had surgery, thank you very much to all the doctors. I walked again after that and now I notice one thing. When I talk about what is happening now, I talk about it with ease, and I find it harder for those stories that were before, I have a feeling that no one is interested in it … Luckily, they found my tumor, otherwise it would be a question of what would be. Then you realize that there is no need to waste time on the wrong people, see who is your real friend, close and everything else. After that, you go into a further life much more relaxed, with less anger towards others – he pointed out.
