How Many Kids Does Ryan Bourland Have With Wife Jessica Bourland?

Ryan Bourland will fight Jake Paul in the biggest fight of his career today at Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While the whole boxing world knows who ‘The Problem Child’ Paul is, not much is known about his opponent. However, that wouldn’t last for long as Bourland gears up for his ‘Rocky’ moment.

Bourland obviously has the short end of the public favor stick in the lead-up to the fight, especially after what happened to Andre August last year. What’s more, Bourland hasn’t fought in the past year, and many claim the 35-year-old boxer was on the way out of the sport. Nevertheless, for the curious ones, here’s everything there is to know about Bourland’s kids with wife Jessica Bourland

According to News Unzip, Bourland has two kids with his wife, Jessica Bourland. The couple met back in 2016 and soon became parents to a son, Ryan Jr, and a daughter, Rylee. Bourland and his family live in Dickinson, North Dakota, where he works as a boxing coach and a welder. However, before going absent from boxing, he had achieved a few accolades in the sport.

According to a report from The Sun, Bourland is an ex-Golden Gloves champion and a junior Olympic boxer. After hanging up his gloves initially, he went to work in oil rigs in 2018. As for why he left boxing, “Taking punches isn’t the most fun thing to do, and I’ve been doing it for a long time, but I’m not making that much money,” said Bourland. That aside, what does Bourland say about fighting Jake Paul?

Bourland thinks Jake Paul doesn’t have many skills

After the fight was announced, Paul received his usual criticism for choosing an unknown opponent with an unimpressive track record. Some people even started digging up old clips of Bourland’s fights, where he had gotten knocked cold out. However, Bourland himself is extremely confident about fighting Jake Paul.

In a statement, Bourland claimed, “Jake Paul steps into the ring with his social media clout, but let’s not mistake followers for experience or skill.” He continued, “While he’s been busy chasing likes, I’ve been honing my craft for years, stepping into the ring and beating real boxers. On Saturday, March 2, I will shock the world and put an end to Jake Paul’s boxing career.”

Whether Bourland can shock the boxing world is still up for debate. However, many, including Nate Diaz, are cheering for the 35-year-old to pull off a surprising win against Jake Paul. Meanwhile, only time can tell whether that will happen or not. Do you think Bourland has a chance? Or do you think it’s all just a cash grab?
