Hydrogène de France compensates for the intermittency of renewable energies

The HDF nugget makes the production of renewable energy more reliable using long-term hydrogen storage. The first plant of this type is under construction in Guyana.

“We are ushering in the era of non-intermittent renewable electricity! », enthuses Damien Havard, CEO of Hydrogène de France (HDF). The name of the SME – recalling Electricité de France (EDF) – leaves little doubt about its ambitions, as it raised more than 130 million euros during its IPO in June. “We are the pioneers of the hydrogen and electricity sector, and intend to be among the world leaders of tomorrow”, confirms Damien Havard.
