If it seems like everyone has a pair of AirPods except you, there’s never been a time to try them out: Amazon is selling the 2nd-generation AirPods for a penny under $80 today, a savings of $59 a the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
In the U.K. you can also save money on the 2nd-generation Airpods. Get them for just £99 (usually £129).
These AirPods are the same model that came out in 2019, but they’re still a fantastic set of earbuds. They don’t have Apple’s newest design or features in the 3rd-gen model, but they’ve got everything you want in a pair of buds: fantastic battery life, seamless setup, hands-free Siri, on-device controls, and super-low latency thanks to Apple’s H1 chip. And of course, you’re getting the iconic AirPods design and crisp, clear audio.
In our 4.5-star review of the 2nd-gen AirPods, we called them “the best true wireless earbuds around” and praised the long battery life and features. And that was when the price was $159. At this deal, they’re a downright steal.
In the U.K. you can also get a deal on the 3rd-generation AirPods at Amazon. Get the 3rd gen AirPods with MagSafe for £159 (usually £179).
The AirPods Pro are also on sale at Amazon UK. You can get the second-generation AirPods Pro (with USC-C) for £199 (usually £229).
