Ikea brings new smart lamp speakers

Ikea is selling a new device as part of its cooperation with the audio manufacturer Sonos.

Ikea is expanding its series of networked Sonos speakers of the brand Symfonisk and brings a new variant of the device in the form of a lamp on the market. This time it is a table lamp with which the lampshades can be changed. Specifically, the basic device of the lamp should be in black and white Tobe offered. There are also 4 different lampshades, optionally made of textile or in a glass version.

The device supports all functions that are available from Sonos Knows speakers. You can use the app to play music, radio or podcasts from various services such as Spotify , or YouTube music play. Coupling with other Sonos devices and subsequent multiroom streaming also work. Playing music via Bluetooth is usually not supported.
