In 2021, the Sejm met at 20 meetings, the deputies debated for 48 days; 279 bills were introduced to the chamber and given a printing number, 191 bills were passed. The deputies took the floor from the parliamentary rostrum of almost 10,000. times, there were 1.4 thousand. committee meetings.

According to statistics, the Sejm in the year ended, it held two meetings less than in 2020, and there were also – by five – less days when the chamber was in session. Despite this, the MPs adopted 191 laws in 2021, which is significantly more than in 2020, then there were 133 laws.

In the end of the year, 279 projects were submitted and given a printing number. Out of 191 bills passed by the Sejm, 126 of the Senate proposed amendments or motions for rejection.

9 thousand sessions of the Sejm 690 times, including 417 times as members of the Council of Ministers. There is a clear increase in this aspect compared to 2020, when MPs spoke less than 7,000. times. Despite the increase in the number of parliamentary speeches in 2021, the number of submitted interpellations decreased compared to 2020 – from 15 thousand. 988 to 12 thousand 321. On the other hand, there were over three times the number of Polish statements – from 196 to 710.

Much more often in 2021 there were meetings also parliamentary committees. In 2020, they did it 875 times, and in 2021 as many as 1 thousand. 408 times.

The last session of the Seym this year was held on December 17, and the first in the New Year is planned for 12 and January 13.
