On the recommendation of the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ), the validity of the European digital covid certificate was extended in Croatia from 270 to 365 days, they announced on the website eudigitalnacovidpotvrda.hr. Meanwhile, Russian authorities are tightening controls on compliance with measures to curb the spread of the new coronavirus, as the number of covid-19-related deaths is steadily rising in the country. In the last day, 867 covid patients died, the highest ever. The authorities note that they will also have to make more efforts to persuade people to get vaccinated.
On 4 October, Croatia will introduce mandatory European digital digital certificates for all employees in health and social care. If they are not vaccinated or ill, they will have to be tested for the new coronavirus outside working hours, preferably before coming to work. Testing is recommended at least twice a week. Without PCT conditions, healthcare employees will not be able to get to work. The PCT condition does not apply to persons who deliver goods to medical institutions and stay there for a short time, the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters announced today
