A small private plane crashed into a two-story building

A small private plane crashed into an empty building on the outskirts of Milan in northern Italy. The plane crash killed eight people, including a child, on board. This was reported by Reuters on Sunday, October 3, with reference to the local police.

The plane took off from Milan’s Linate Airport and headed for the island Sardinia. He fell on a two-story building, which was being repaired at the time, so it was empty. The accident happened near a suburban subway station. The reasons for the fall are currently unknown.

Eyewitnesses said that they heard an explosion during the collision. In particular, a fire broke out at the scene, which affected several cars parked along the street.

There were eight people on board: two pilots, five adults and a child – they all died, reports ANSA . The victims are known to be 68-year-old Dan Petrescu, who was considered one of Romania’s richest men, his 30-year-old son Dan Stefan Petrescu, and his 65-year-old wife, whose name journalists did not name. Five more are identified, including a child who is probably several years old.
