In the Land of Leadale Episode 4: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 3 of In the Land of Leadale, titled “The Daughter, an Arena, a Blast, and an Uppercut,” is the latest installment of the anime.

In this episode, Cayna visited her daughter at the Royal Academy. When we first saw Mai-Mai with her siblings, she seemed mature and serious, but when she met Cayna, her demeanor changed, and she became a mommy’s girl.

Cayna also met Mai-Mai’s husband, who was interested in the potion she brewed earlier.

It is also revealed that contradictory to her prior belief, Cayna wasn’t in the future of Leadale. Instead, the game had been shut down, and all the players were gone.

Cayna became quite sad after discovering this and even shut out her family when they reached out to her.

Is Cayna really the sole player in Leadale? Will she find someone else like her? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 4 Speculation

In episode 4, Cayna is finally going to properly meet Skargo. After his over-the-top reaction to Cayna’s dull mood, he was punched through the roof by his mother.

Their back and forth will be funny to witness as I’m sure Skargo will not learn his lesson and will go above and beyond to please his mother.

Cayna might leave the city to find adventures elsewhere since there isn’t much to do there. Also, ever since she found out that the game’s service shut down, she must want to find out if there were others like her.

So, she might leave soon with the band of merchants that brought her to the city.

Episode 4 Release Date

Episode 4 of the In the Land of Leadale anime, titled “The Son, a Fight, a Trip, and a Bandit”, will be released on Wednesday, Jan 26, 2022.

Episode 3 Recap

Cayna has become quite famous among the townspeople after chasing around the little prince and walking on water during the process.

She visits the guild, where a summon from the Royal Academy waits for her. She gladly accepts it since this is a good opportunity to meet her daughter, Mai-Mai.

Cayna is greeted by Lonti, who accompanies her to the director’s office. Mai-Mai is over the moon to see her mother and pulls her into a warm embrace. Lonti is shocked to find out that Cayna is the director’s mother.

Soon, she’s dismissed, and Mai-Mai tells Cayna the real reason for her summon.

The two head out to meet Lopus, the Royal Academy’s instructor and Mai-Mai’s husband. Lopus asks Cayna about the potion she gave away at the guild to complete a request.

He explains how it was made using an extinct technique and requests her to demonstrate the procedure to his students.

Cayna agrees and shows Lopus’ class how she made the potion. They’re all astonished to see how easy it was for Cayna to make it.

Lopus asks her how she made the potion appear pre-packaged in a bottle. Cayna dismisses the question, thinking it should be a question for the game developers.

She then leaves for the guild once again to complete some tasks. She picks up a request that asks the adventurer to get rid of the ghost at the Colosseum. The little prince from before spots her and follows her to the haunting sight on her way.

After loitering around, Cayna puts the prince to sleep and finally sees the supposed ghost. She teleports to a tower, and the guard of that tower greets her. We find out that the tower belongs to Skill Master No. 9, Kyotaro.

Cayna introduces herself as Skill Master No. 3. The guard tells her that its master wasn’t going to return. Cayna realizes that the world she is living in isn’t the future of Leadale but is the land left after all the players exited and the service shut down.

The guard asks Cayna to be the tower’s guardian and its master. Cayna agrees and promises to visit again. She returns to her inn and gets in bed, depressed about the fact that even after re-awakening all the towers, she wasn’t going to meet any players.

The news of her depression spreads around town and eventually reaches Skargo. He rushes to his mother’s aid while creating a huge fuss.

Cayna is disappointed to see her flamboyant son and punches him so hard that his face gets stuck in the ceiling. Mai-Mai also reaches there and takes away Skargo, giving her mother some space.

The episode ends as Cayna lies in her bed, with a barrier surrounding her. 

About In the Land of Leadale

In the Land of Lealand is a light novel series serialized on the Let’s Become Novelists website from 2010 to 2012. It is soon to get an anime adaptation.

Cayna is involved in a major accident and dies when her life support machine at the hospital fails. She wakes up in a familiar world that she recognizes as the VR world from a game that she used to play.
