SuperGaming has been working hard on its upcoming futuristic battle royale, Indus. We’ve been hearing about the game for a year now and pre-registrations recently began on 26th January. In just a little under a month, Indus has already amassed nearly one million pre-registrations on Android.
Speaking about their plans for the near future, Roby John, co-founder and CEO at SuperGaming, said: “To celebrate the community’s love and support for Indus, we felt that it’s time to take it to
India’s fastest-growing city, Surat. Our previous playtests had us get valuable feedback from players in Pune and Bengaluru which helped us make a better game, now it’s time to see what some of the more hardcore battle royale players in the country think.”
Players in Surat, India can play Indus on February 25th at White Orange Software. It is strictly an invite-only event and those that are interested in participating can do so using the official form. The community playtest will feature the game’s latest build and players will be able to take on other participants and the developers themselves.
Back in November, another round of testing was held during the Bengaluru Comic Con. The current build that will be available in Surat offers a number of improvements and content that players can enjoy.
In terms of improvements, graphics have been bettered, visuals will be smoother, the map will feature a few changes, and there are upgrades to the mini-map as well. A tonne of new stuff has also been added, including new paragons, weapons, supply drops, and a weapon testing facility to check the guns out before dropping into Virlok.
Additionally, players will also find a new slide feature and more customizable controls. The video above should give a good idea of what to expect in community playtest number three.
Pre-register for Indus now on Google Play.
