Inside Jay Blades’ cosy home he shares with fiancée Lisa

Jay Blades has became a well-known star thanks to BBC One show The Repair Shop, having fronted the show since 2017.

The TV star, 51, has made a career out of his incredible furniture restorations, but recently fans got to catch a glimpse of Jay’s life away from The Repair Show, when he starred in his own hour-long documentary.

Jay Blades: Learning To Read at 51 aired on BBC One on 26 January, and documented Jay’s difficult journey as he attempted to learn to read later in life.

The 51 year old’s dyslexia went undiagnosed while he was at school, but he has now embarked on a six month-long journey with a charity named Read Easy, which has been chronicled in the new documentary.

During the show, viewers were given a sneak peek inside Jay’s gorgeous home he shares with his fiancée Lisa Marie Bozen. Here we take a look inside the couple’s abode…

Jay and Lisa, who announced their engagement back in December, live in a stunning home in Wolverhampton.

The couple’s home features an extremely neat front garden, which is surrounded by a thick hedge allowing them to maintain their privacy.

The front door is bright white with a black frame, and the two windows at the front of house also have matching paintwork.

Previously, Jay shared a snap of his front door to Instagram, where he showed off a lavish wreath he’d had designed by professional florist, Nettle of the Gorge.

The BBC star tends to keep his home life out of the spotlight, and his social media is littered with snaps of his furniture projects and TV work.

Jay previously shared a snap of one of the rooms in his home however, and it is seriously stylish.

The room is painted cream and features contrasting black cupboards, with a table situated in the centre of the space.

The furniture in Jay’s home is unsurprisingly impressive, with his dining table featuring four brightly coloured chairs.

During his recent BBC documentary, viewers caught glimpse of the star’s kitchen, which is also painted cream and has white worktops.
