Inspector examines McArthur Avenue building following Saturday fire

A city fire investigator was inspecting a Vanier-area building following a Saturday morning fire on McArthur Avenue near May Street.

Ottawa Fire Services were called to the scene at about 9 a.m.

The building at 431 McArthur Ave. is a two-storey structure, with a tattoo parlour in the basement.

The fire was declared under control shortly before 11 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
