It’s time to compare the top of the Apple range and the Samsung one: the youtuber PhoneBuff put on her test table iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy S21 Ultra for a “scientific” speed test.
The test consists of opening in quick succession of various commonly used applications , such as Facebook, Excel or the Camera app, as well as games and streaming apps. Everything is timed and performed by a mechanical arm , to make the fight as fair as possible.
The test then focuses on the ability to keep apps in memory , since they will be reopened again to see if they are still active.
The first part of the competition sees iPhone win, even if only for a few seconds: the Apple smartphone has in fact opened all applications in 1 minutes and 51 seconds , while Galaxy S21 Ultra took 1 minute and 58 seconds . The second part also sees the iPhone as the winner, but with a lower difference: iPhone took 47 seconds i to reopen all apps, while Galaxy 49 seconds .
