東京消防庁蒲田消防署は2月15日、京急蒲田駅で昨年12月に急病人を救ったとして、同駅駅員の田辺まゆさんと尾上愛美さん、日本航空（JAL/JL、9201）の客室乗務員の太田美穂さんの3人に髙﨑剛彦署長が感謝状を贈呈した。

2021年12月30日正午ごろ、京急蒲田駅で50代男性が駅構内の上りエスカレーターで意識を失い転倒。通行人から状況を知らされた田辺さんが現場に駆けつけ、119番通報した。
田辺さんが男性の様子を見たところ、意識がなく通常の呼吸状態ではないとみられたことから心臓マッサージ（胸骨圧迫）を開始。尾上さんがAED（自動体外式除細動器）を使って電気ショックを行った。太田さんはその場を通りかかり、心臓マッサージを手伝う旨を伝え、田辺さんと救急隊が到着するまで続けた。蒲田署によると、男性は医療機関に搬送され、現在は意識を回復してリハビリを行っているという。
太田さんは入社4年目で、社内のAED訓練を3回受講していた。「生死に関わるので不安でしたが、勇気を出してやるしかないと思い、訓練通りに『次、代わります』と声を掛けながら行いました」と話した。
