What are the most requested professions in 2022? According to the analysis carried out by Randstad on the job advertisements at the beginning of 2022, the most sought after are the warehouse worker, the metalworker and the nurse, followed by 12 other profiles who altogether they represent almost 4 thousand open positions .

In all, fifteen professions very different in terms of required skills, levels of seniority and sectors to which they belong , which as a whole – from industry to healthcare, from large-scale distribution to ICT – photograph the trends in progress on the labor market, at a time of strong growth in supply, but also of difficulties in find the right candidates to meet the needs of companies.

The most requested profile is the warehouse worker , for which Randstad now has over 1200 open positions . In third place the nurse ( over 800 open positions ), a profession that cannot be found by definition, which, together with the health and social worker in seventh position, highlights the chronic shortage of health professions, aggravated by the explosion of the pandemic and the new needs for care and assistance.

As a result of the digital transformation that invests across the board all sectors, among the fifteen most requested profiles three are ICT (Java developer, system administrator, help desk ) for which today there are more than 300 active searches, including skills IT are now common requirements for many other professions.
