‘Kaiju Attack’ is a Strategy Puzzler from ‘Tower of Fortune’ Developer Game Stew that’s Launching February 17th

When you think of developer Game Stew, you probably think about their slot machine dungeon crawler series Tower of Fortune, and those likely are their most well-known games. But the truth is that Game Stew has been releasing all sorts of quirky and interesting types of games over the years using their unique brand of low-fi visuals and clever mix of mechanics. After releasing Tower of Fortune 4 over the summer last year, Game Stew is back with another non-Tower of Fortune game called Kaiju Attack. As you can imagine, you’ll be fighting off gigantic monsters as you can see in the trailer for Kaiju Attack.

Game Stew describes this one as a “strategy game with puzzle elements” and based on the above trailer it looks similar to a match-and-merge game like Triple Town or Threes! but, obviously, with gigantic monsters. You’ll be fighting off ten different kaiju in an effort to defend 8 different countries, and you’ll do this by utilizing 8 different weapons including a Frozen Tank, a Rail Gun, and more. All I know for sure is that Game Stew brings the goods, and Kaiju Attack is all set to launch next week on February 17th. You can pre-order it on the App Store for $2.99 and join in on the discussion about this one in our forums ahead of its release.
