Kamal Haasan hospitalized

Legendary actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan has reportedly been admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Porur, Chennai. Sources close to the megastar have revealed that it is for a routine checkup and that he will be discharged this evening itself.

Kamal has had a busy weekend having hosted the grand finale of the ‘Bigg Boss 5’ Tamil reality show. He also announced his 51st movie as producer starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy of ‘Rangoon’ fame.

On the professional front Kamal has in the pipeline hosting the ‘Bigg Boss Ultimate’ 24 hours OTT show. completion of ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Next on cards are films directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Vetrimaaran and Pa. Ranjith apart from the long delayed ‘Indian 2’.
