Azoknak, akik rendelkeznek európai Covid-igazolvánnyal – vagy más, Portugáliában elismert oltási igazolvánnyal -, már nem kell negatív koronavírus-teszteredményt bemutatniuk.
Más európai országokhoz hasonlóan Portugália is bevezette december elején, hogy a 12 évnél idősebb utasoknak még a beutazás előtt be kell szerezniük e teszteredményt. Ennek lett most vége.
A vasárnap megjelent kormányrendelet azokkal az uniós ajánlásokkal van összhangban, amelyeknek a célja az EU-n belüli utazások szabályainak jobb összehangolása és annak elkerülése, hogy a Covid-igazolvánnyal rendelkezőkkel szemben új korlátozásokat vezessenek be, mint ahogyan ez megtörtént több tagországban a vírus újonnan megjelent, omikron változata miatt.
Az omikron miatt Portugáliában is új fertőzéshullám indult el. Szombaton 41 ezer új megfertőződést és 44 halálesetet regisztráltak az elmúlt 24 órában.
