“I am glad that in Serbia and I greet the Serbian people, given that Serbia has become the capital of world boxing this year. The whole world is waiting for this boxing holiday and we are all actively preparing for it, “the Kremlin told reporters in Belgrade.
The Kremlin was a guest of Belgrade, where he attended a session of the local organizing committee for the World Cup. will be held in Belgrade from October 24 to November 4.
“I arrived here for the weekend, preparations are very active. “I came to resolve the issues that I have to harmonize and I think that will contribute to keeping the World Cup at the highest level,” he said.
The first man of AIBA said that he was satisfied with the preparations for the upcoming event .
“Everything is at a very high level, primarily the support of the Government and the organizing committee. I am here to take additional measures to speed up the preparations, as there are segments in which there are delays, but I am really satisfied. “We will speed up the preparations and everything will be at a high level,” he said.
He added that about 100 countries should take part in the World Cup, but also that due to the situation with the corona virus, talks are being held with the countries in order to create conditions for their arrival. .
