La Formule 1 ne sera pas diffusée en Russie cette saison

Après avoir déjà perdu son Grand Prix national et vu Haas F1 remercier Nikita Mazepin et son sponsor Uralkali, la Russie s’est désormais vu interdire de diffuser les courses de Formule 1 sur son territoire, conséquence bien évidemment de ce qu’il se passe actuellement en Ukraine.

Il n’y aura donc plus aucune diffusion à la télévision russe ni d’accès aux différentes plateformes de streaming telles que F1 TV.

Aleksandr Taschin est le directeur exécutif de la chaîne Match TV qui devait diffuser la F1 sur le sol russe cette année. Il dénonce ce qui est selon lui un acte politique de la part de l’Occident.

“La chaîne de télévision Match TV a été informée que son accord pour diffuser la F1 avait été rompu,” a commenté Taschin.

“Malheureusement, la saison 2022 ne sera pas diffusée sur notre chaîne, et ce malgré notre respect de longue date concernant les obligations financières et marketing qui nous incombent.”

“Nous regrettons ce nouvel acte politique de la part de nos collègues de l’Ouest, et nous espérons que beaucoup de fans de sport automobiles russes auront à nouveau l’opportunité de voir la F1 sur grand écran, commentée par la voix de la Formule 1, Alexey Popov.”
