For his part, the Saudi artist and the international arbitrator accredited to the committee, Tariq Khoja, among the members of the jury on behalf of the Kingdom, told “Previously”: “Congratulations to us for this achievement and for raising the Kingdom’s flag in international forums. The creative and talented young men and women of the country deserve all support.”

He was among those entrusted with the task of selecting the Saudi team participating in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership and support of team captain Asim Al-Sabban.

By phone, the photographer “Sarah Al-Rawas” told “Sabq”, her beginnings with a passion for the art of photography, saying: “After I graduated from King Abdulaziz University in 2015 from the College of Media with an excellent grade with honors, I began to enter the world of photography as a hobby four years ago. (2018), after that I was curious about the world of photography and its secrets, so I decided to enter I am in a serious stage of learning, and I began to learn the basics of photography for a period of time until I was able to deal with the camera in my hand, and from here my launch was.”

She added: “In a short period of time I had a greater responsibility towards this.” The beautiful specialization, so I decided to go into and focus more on this specialty, and put my energy and effort to come up with satisfactory results, so I attended specialized courses in this field, and mixed with creative people in my field, and I do not forget the merit of many artists and artists to stand by me, and answer my questions and their continuous support for me.”

She continued: “After that, I used to produce some works permanently and display them on my Instagram page for the purpose of showing my work only. With time, I was surprised by the request of individuals, institutions and companies for photographic services. I always refused to provide these services because of my lack of great experience. In this field, and after I refined my talent, I extracted a freelance document; Which contributed to my stability and continuity of creativity, and I began to enter the commercial world, and attracted customers through the quality of my work, and presented several commercial works in a short time.”

And she continued: “My entry into the commercial world helped me a lot in purchasing some equipment.” Which I desperately needed because the costs of filming were a dilemma for me, but I was able to manage this problem by working on my available capabilities, and from time to time I upgrade my equipment that I need.”

She explained: “I completed My passion, and I was very enjoying what I do, and all the time I was working hard to present a different work with striking composition and lighting, I loved my work very much, and I started sharing some behind the scenes for photographers to convey the idea that perfect work requires an idea, effort and planning. After that, I was chosen by the international arbitrator, the artist Tariq Khoja, to be one of the members of the Saudi team for the World Cup Photography 2022 competition.” International forums, and this was my first participation in competitions, whether local or international, and thankfully my work was chosen, and I will be the first Saudi artist to win this award, as my work won the highest vote for the participating Saudi team.”

She concluded She said: “I would like to say that the road is still ahead of me, and I still have many ideas in my mind, and I still adhere to this beautiful art, as it is my outlet. My advice to everyone in this field: work for you, give your time to practice, and invest in learning.”
