MERSING: Lelaki yang dilaporkan hilang selepas keluar mencari kerang bersendirian di sekitar Pantai Tenglu Laut di sini, ditemukan lemas petang tadi.
Ketua Polis Daerah Mersing Supt Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani berkata mayat Hafiz Nursalam Ahmad, 21, ditemukan di perairan Kuala Tenglu kira-kira lima kilometer dari lokasi dilaporkan hilang.
“Mayat mangsa ditemukan lengkap berpakaian pada pukul 6.30 petang oleh orang awam yang turut serta dalam operasi pencarian dan mangsa juga telah dikenal pasti oleh ahli keluarganya.
“Mayat mangsa kemudiannya dibawa ke Hospital Mersing untuk proses bedah siasat,“ katanya dalam kenyataan malam ini.
Beliau berkata susulan penemuan itu, operasi mencari dan menyelamat ditamatkan pada 7.10 malam tadi.
Terdahulu, media melaporkan Hafiz Nursalam yang berasal dari daerah itu sering mencari kerang di kawasan berkenaan namun beliau dikatakan tidak pulang ke rumah selepas keluar sejak pukul 10 pagi Isnin.
