Glen Johnson believes Arsenal star Bukayo Saka would “suit” Liverpool and that a move to Anfield would be “good” for the Englishman.
It was reported at the end of December that Liverpool were interested in signing Saka.
The 20-year-old has been a standout player for Arsenal over the past couple of years.

Saka has already played over 100 times for his boyhood club. He featured for England at last year’s European Championships.
The versatile youngster has been in great form this term. He has contributed with six goals and four assists from his 20 Premier League appearances.
Johnson believes Liverpool and Saka would both be “interested in a move”:
“I do think it’ll be an expensive transfer to pull off because Arsenal wouldn’t want to sell one of their best players to a rival,” Johnson said (as quoted by the Liverpool Echo).
“As he’s a fantastic player, a young player and English then it would have to be a big deal.
“In terms of Liverpool and the player being interested in a move then I believe that for sure. But I just think it would be quite a complex deal to pull off.
“I do think it would be a good move for Saka. Any chance you get to sign for one of the best teams around, as a young player, it’s going to be appealing.
“I think the way that Liverpool play will suit him down to the ground.”
Speaking last month, Matthew Upson suggested that Saka is “hugely attractive for a big club”:
“I think we’re talking about a player who is early on in establishing himself at Arsenal,” Upson said.
“Saka is a little bit away from panicking about whether Arsenal are going to lose him or not.
“But I do think he’s hugely attractive for a big club that is in a better position to win the Premier League than Arsenal right now.
“If they come to get him, it wouldn’t surprise me at all because I think he’s a fantastic player.
“Arsenal have to do everything they can to keep improving him, and to make him feel like Arsenal is a club going in the right direction.”
