Love Island’s Elom Ahlijah-Wilson’s life off screen including job and age

Casa Amor bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson has established his place in the Love Island villa after being chosen to couple up with Catherine Agbaje.

Ahead of joining the show Elom said: “I don’t beat around the bush, I don’t have a filter. If I don’t like you, I’m going to say it straight up. I’m confident. Looks wise, 10/10.”

When he’s not causing drama in the Majorcan villa, the 22 year old works as a fitness trainer and masseuse.

The London-based PT has not one, but two Instagram accounts. You can find him at @_truegains as well as @elom.aw.

But as with the last series, contestants’ accounts will remain dormant while they’re in the villa.

The change is part of Love Island’s duty of care measures and aims to protect both the islanders and their families from the adverse effects of social media and trolling.

However, when he does have access to his social media accounts, Elom is often documenting his lavish holidays and has travelled the world, from Spain to Dubai.

Fans convinced that Catherine has ruined her chances at winning the show, as she returned with Elom rather than remaining with Scott van der Sluis.

As the dramatic scenes aired fans took to Twitter, with many writing that Catherine had just “thrown away” the 50k prize money.

One wrote: “Catherine literally threw that 50k in the bin… #loveisland” and another quipped: “Catherine??? You fumbled 50k #loveisland.”

“CATHERINE HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US, WE COULDVE GOTTEN YALL THAT 50K” added another.

Choosing to recouple has not just left fans thinking Catherine, 23, has lost the money, it has also left them very disappointed with the 23 year old.

Upset, one fan tweeted: “OH CATHERINE, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO SCOTT?!!??!” They finished the tweet off with a series of crying emojis and broken heart emojis.

While another fan was clearly shocked after they said: “Catherine has really disappointed me I cannot believe this.”

It all comes after Friday night’s episode saw Scott confront his fellow islanders after they suggested that he was “over-exaggerating” his feelings for Catherine as a way to stay in the villa for longer.

After calling all the islanders to the firepit, he told them to stop talking behind his back and instead address their issues to his face.
