Een leeg slurpende batterij op je MacBook, de laptop van Apple kampt met een batterijprobleem. Daar is nu een oplossing voor.
Diverse bezitters van een MacBook met macOS 12.2 hebben aangegeven issues te ervaren met betrekking tot de batterij. De accu zou gevoelsmatig snel leeg gaan, zonder dat de gebruiker veel vraagt van de computer. Kortom, er lijkt een spook in de software geslopen te zijn die het gemunt heeft op de batterij. Apple is op de hoogte van het MacBook batterijprobleem en heeft een fix uitgebracht.
MacBook batterijprobleem
Die fix komt met versie 12.2.1. De update is nu beschikbaar gesteld door de Amerikaanse techgigant. Het MacBook batterijprobleem had te maken met laptops met de Intel-chips. De M1-chip van Apple had er geen last van. Het issue was gelinkt aan het feit dat Bluetooth bleef verbinden, terwijl de laptop in slaapstand stond.
Het kwam voor dat bij diverse MacBooks de batterij de volgende ochtend helemaal leeg was. Terwijl de accu die avond daardoor nog enkele tientallen procenten lading had. Normaal gesproken hoor je de volgende dag dan gewoon verder te kunnen gaan waar je gebleven was.
Kortom, updaten naar macOS 12.2.1 is het devies. Dit zou het probleem moeten oplossen. De software update is nu beschikbaar.
