Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers debuted last year. Not everyone liked the title, especially since we were dealing with a rather underdeveloped game-service. In recent weeks, however, the game has gotten louder, mainly thanks to the free weekend as well as an extensive additional one, offered at no additional cost. Although the Avengers did not ultimately turn out to be as successful as Square Enix had hoped for, the company does not stop at preparing more games under the Marvel license. Already this month, another production will debut – Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – for which Eidos Montreal studio is responsible. This time, however, the title is to be a specific single-player experience, without any add-ons, DLC, micropayments and other forms of game-services. The creators have released a new material on the web showing how Guardians of the Galaxy will present themselves on PC.

Initial feedback on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is more positive than Avengers First of all, we will get a better story, more interesting characters, the ability to make decisions and a variety of locations. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy for PC it will also offer support for HDR technology, which should be carefully used by appropriate monitors and TV sets. There will also be the possibility of playing in 8K resolution – here, however, the above-mentioned NVIDIA DLSS technique in Ultra Performance mode certainly falls, where the base resolution is 2560×1440 pixels, and then is scaled to 7680×4320 pixels (8K). Guardians of the Galaxy will also offer unlimited FPS and support for ultra-panoramic monitors. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will debut on October 26.
