Match venue between Porto Velho and Juventude is not yet defined

This definition depends on a signal from the board of Porto Velho Futebol Clube with the Brazilian Football Confederation, something that has not yet been done, and with that the Rondônia State Government itself made a favorable manifestation to the use of the Aluízio Pinheiro Stadium with the presence of the fan.

In this way, the telenovela where the match will take place continues. The Government of Rondônia is also committed to the necessary adjustments for the reception of the public in the match valid for the 2022 Copa do Brasil. The game will be between Porto Velho and the Juventude do Rio Grande do Sul team, and the visitor has the advantage of play for a draw. Last season, the venue was used, but without the presence of fans.

According to the Superintendence of Youth, Culture, Sports and Leisure (SEJUCEL), the stadium would be in a position to host the game , the problem would be for the release of fans, but they would already be solving this issue, including regarding lighting. This game should now take place in February, but the municipality intends to solve these problems in January.

It is good to know that the Aluízio Pinheiro Stadium “O Aluizão” has been under renovation since the year 2019, which would be the construction of side accesses, electrical installations, security system installations, fire protection, grandstand renovation, among others. This renovation was budgeted at almost 1 million reais, and had a deadline of 180 days to be delivered, a deadline that is already extrapolated and a lot, but they say that the works will be resumed on site.

One of the alternatives for the match would be the Ângelo Cassol Stadium “O Cassolão”, which is located in Rolim de Moura, and which was offered to Porto Velho. Club representatives have already recently met with representatives of the Sports Authority of the city that takes care of the Stadium, and the Municipal Mayor, and now a definition is expected from Porto Velho and mainly from the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), which is still must make official the date and place of departure.
