Für 4,2 Millionen Dollar hat die Immobilienexpertin 7,9 Millionen Quadratmeter Land erworben. „Es ist eine der zentralsten Parzellen“, schwärmt die ehemalige Bankerin, die nun so schnell wie möglich Gebäude, Straßen und Parks anlegen will. Eine kleine Stadt schwebt ihr vor. Der Preis macht stutzig. Nur einen halben Dollar pro Quadratmeter – und das mitten im Immobilienboom? Doch Yorios Land ist nicht von dieser Welt. Zumindest noch nicht. Es existiert nur im Computer. Genauer gesagt in The Sandbox, einer der bekanntesten virtuellen Welten.
