Po dlhej dobe sa hral turnaj v Istebnom a hneď v troch kategóriách.

ISTEBNÉ. Po dlhšom čase súťažili za zelenými stolmi aj mladí stolnotenisti. Na svoje si prišli až tri kategórie. Rozbehla sa oravská súťaž, ktorá je rozdelená na skupiny Juh a Sever. Prvú tvoria kluby od Dolného Kubína až po Tvrdošín a k nim sa pridal jeden žilinský zástupca. Do druhej skupiny sa mohli prihlásiť družstvá z okresu Námestovo a od Trstenej po Suchú Horu.

Prvý turnaj odohrali účastníci skupiny Juh, ktorú vytvorilo až osem družstiev (Tvrdošín, Nižná, Bziny, Sedliacka Dubová, Istebné, Párnica, Dolný Kubín a Žilina).
Najpočetnejšiu kategóriu mladších žiakov (18 hráčov) ovládli dvaja stolnotenisti z Istebného. Vyhral Samuel Mikula, druhý skončil Lukáš Gašparík.
Medzi staršími žiakmi dominoval Martin Kačírek zo Žiliny. Potom nasledovali Martin Sedlár a Samuel Sobčák. Obaja sú hráčmi Bzín.
Kategória do 21 rokov sa hrala v réžii súrodeneckého dua Drbiakovcov. Vyhral Kevin pred Karinou.
