As the Ramadan festive season is coming up, MSI Malaysia has kicked off its Ramadan promotion for selected gaming and productivity laptops, where customers can score up to RM700 off on a gaming laptop and up to RM500 off on productivity laptops, this promotion starts from 20 March 2023 till 20 April 2023 and here’s what you need to know.
In terms of gaming laptops, MSI is giving out US$100 Steam Wallet codes to selected 13th Gen Intel gaming laptops such as the new Katana 17, Katana 15 and Cyborg, while the most discounted gaming laptop is the MSI Katana GF66 powered by 11th Gen Intel CPUs and NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics.
The most affordable gaming laptop among the list is the MSI GF63 Thin 10SC, which retails at RM2,799 and is powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10500H processor and NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics, though that affordable price would also mean you won’t get a high refresh rate display as it comes with a standard 15.6-inch Full HD 60Hz display.
Want a laptop for work? The most discounted productivity laptop is the MSI Modern 14 C12M, which we have reviewed and find it to be an excellent portable machine for work, powered by a Intel Core i5-1235U processor and sporting a 14-inch Full HD display, this laptop retail at just RM2,499, down from its usual price of RM2,999.
Interestingly, the Modern 14 C7M with a rather recent AMD Ryzen 7530U processor is retailing at a very attractive price of RM2,499, this is definitely a better purchase if you require a little oomph in graphics performance in an affordable laptop.
