Neiland is outside the TOP100 in the overall Cro Race

Latvian cyclist Krists Neilands from the Israel Start-Up Nation team took 91st place on Sunday in the six-day Cro Race (UCI cat. 2.1) in the last stage. In the sixth stage, the cyclists covered a distance of 156.6 kilometers with three climbs of the third category. hours in 23 minutes and three seconds. The second and third place winners – British Stephen Williams (Bahrain – Victorious) and Norwegian Markus Helgard (Uno-X Pro) – also finished with the same time, five seconds ahead of the group of followers.

Neiland finished the distance four minutes and 25 seconds later than the winning three. Williams won first place in the overall standings, Helgārds was second, 17 seconds behind, and Dutch Mick van Deik (“Jumbo-Visma”) took the third place 28 seconds behind, finishing 21st in the last stage.

The Latvian cyclist was ranked 109th among 110 athletes who reached the finish line, losing 47 minutes and 12 seconds. For Neiland, this was his first race since last week’s World Championship group race, in which he resigned. won by British cyclist Adam Yates
