The Premier League is widely regarded as the biggest and best football league in the world. It’s one that has a global audience, and is watched far and wide, with millions of eyes watching on each week there is  a game that takes place.

The league has some of the biggest and most successful teams to have ever have been established, enhancing the appeal that it has, with footballers wanting to make the switch to England and play in the competition when they get the chance.

New Players to Watch in the Premier League this Season

It’s not just the players (and managers) who want to get the opportunity to take in what the Premier League has, with bettors also enjoying themselves with the competitive nature of the division. There are many who will use a betting operator after reading a dedicated sportsbook review to place a wager on the English top-tier, as they know they can get some of the best football action to bet on and enhance their overall experiences further by doing so.

Each season promises plenty of fun and excitement, especially with the summer transfer season. This period can often see some of the biggest names outside of the league arrive, while there can be players who switch clubs and look to help their new employers potentially get one over their old team.

Which players have arrived in the 2024/25 Summer Transfer Window?

The clubs in the Premier League have been busy this summer, with almost every club having decided to bring in new faces. In fact, the only team yet to sign a new player during the window is Liverpool, but there is still time for Arne Slot to make the changes he feels he needs to ensure his maiden season in charge of the Reds can be successful.

Wherever you look, there are several names that will have piqued the interest of fans and observers all over the world. This is just part of the attraction and appeal that the league has.

Top players to keep an eye on this season

Manchester United have arguably been one of the biggest and most active in the transfer window this summer in terms of bringing in quality. Erik ten Hag found his future being questioned for several long periods once the season concluded, and it appears he has been given the backing he needs. Leny Yoro arrived from Lille and Joshua Zirkzee joined from Bologna, although fans will have to wait to see the former for a little while longer after he picked up an injury in preseason.

Arsenal have added defensive reinforcements to their Premier League title charge this season, with Mikel Arteta’s side securing the signature of Riccardo Calafiori, with an eye on tightening up the defence even further and trying to bridge the gap between them and Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s side have only added Savinho so far, but has managed to keep the core of his squad together thus far.

Chelsea have added a new goalkeeper in Filip Jorgensen, Tosin Adarabioyo in defence, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the midfield, but there could still be developments in terms of an attacker. Tottenham have also stated they want a striker to add to their ranks, having added youngsters Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray to their team.

With the deadline not until the end of the month, there is still a lot that could happen, and we could potentially see even more exciting names plying their trade in the Premier League next season.
